Rihanna in Scissor-Buddy Melissa Forde

Rihanna rocks new hair-do and hot bodysuit while partying in NYC Rihanna rocks new hair-do and hot bodysuit while partying in NYC
Rihanna was spotted rocking a new hair-do (yup, her 18th one this year!) as she left her NYC hotel to go clubbing with BFF/groupie/lesbian-lover Melissa Forde. I don’t think there’s any question about it, but Melissa Forde definitely has one of the best gigs on the planet—she gets to follow Rihanna around the globe, get everything comp’d by RiRi’s promoter & Ri herself only worry about not pissing off or annoying Rihanna. I’m also pretty sure she watches over Rihanna like a hawk, so good luck to all those dudes trying to get into RiRi’s panties. If you want to go Rihanna, it appears you have to first poke your way through Melissa Forde.

Poverty has a Race - Lindiwe Mazibuko

The Democratic Alliance's parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko has confirmed that the party will grapple with its policies on black economic empowerment and employment equity at the upcoming federal congress this weekend, and said she was aligned with certain people in the party who believed race mattered.
"Inequality is racialised," she said, calling for a balanced approach. "We can't ignore it, but neither do we want to entrench racial categories as a function of who you are."
She went further, contradicting the party's conservative elements that have told the Mail & Guardian that the DA must stay away from race-based legislation.

"I think over time our goal has to be non-racialism but we have to accept we don't live in a non-racial society," she said. "Poverty has a race, wealth has a race, access to opportunity and education, all those things have a race, and to think that we can just move on without changing any of that proactively is actually illiberal."

OIL & GAS: 2014 to Witness Sale of Oil Refineries - Diezani

NIGERIA, Africa's largest oil producer, plans to begin privatizing its four state-owned oil refineries before the end of the first quarter, Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke said.
Alison-Madueke said in an interview with Bloomberg TV Africa in London, "We would like to see major infrastructural entities such as refineries moving out of government hands into the private sector. Government does not want to be in the business of running major infrastructure entities and we haven't done a very good job at it over all these years."
A presidential audit of the facilities last year recommended their sale due to inadequate government funding and "sub-optimal performance." The refineries, which have a combined 445,000 barrel-a-day capacity, should be privatized within 18 months, according to the report submitted to President Goodluck Jonathan in November 2012. Nigeria, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, produced 1.99 million barrels a day of crude in October, data compiled by Bloomberg show.

The Dreadful Leprosy Vs Armadillo

They look innocent enough, though odd, with their long, pointy snouts, beady eyes, short, scaly legs, all poking out from beneath a leathery carapace. They are a common sight in the American south, especially if you are looking for roadkill along the highways and dirt lanes that crisscross the country from Amarillo, Texas to Apalachicola, Florida.  About the size of a large house cat when fully grown, the humble armadillo has become the prime suspect in a medical mystery that goes back to Biblical times.
It was reported on April 28, 2011 that genetic researchers at the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA)National Hansen's Disease Program (NHDP) in Baton Rouge, LA, had uncovered a potential risk for the transmission of Hansen's Disease, also known as leprosy, from armadillos to humans.
Leprosy is a bacterial infection that is known for its disfiguring and crippling effects. Until the discovery of antibiotics, numbed and rotting limbs and faces, and deep, oozing lesions were common symptoms of this condition. Victims were banished to "colonies" where they were quarantined, having no human contact other than with fellow Lepers. Until the mid-1900's, Leprosy had resulted in the isolation and deaths of millions of people.

IAEA Report: IRAN SLOWS DOWN on Nuclear PROGAMs

Iran has stopped expanding its uranium enrichment capacity, a UN inspection report showed on Thursday, in a potential boost for diplomacy to end Tehran's nuclear dispute with the West, Reuters reported.

The quarterly report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also said that since August no further major components had been added to the Arak heavy water site.

The marked slowdown in the growth of nuclear activities may be intended to back up Rouhani's diplomatic efforts to resolve the dispute and strengthen Tehran's hand in talks with world powers due to resume on November 20.

The six powers - the United States, France, Germany, Britain, Russia, and China - are pressing Iran to curb its nuclear program.

Iran halted a previously rapid increase in its capacity to refine uranium "when their team changed" in August, a senior diplomat familiar with the IAEA report said, referring to Rouhani and his administration.

But Iran is still pressing ahead with the enrichment of uranium to a fissile concentration of 20 percent, the report showed.
